Sara’s Story

When I moved to Florida in 2021, I came as a single woman searching for purpose, unsure of what God had next for me, but trusting that He had a plan.  Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that within just two months of being here, I would meet my husband, Chris, and that God would call me into ministry alongside him, something I had never envisioned for my life.

What I’ve come to see is that God not only redeems our pasts, but He also exceeds our expectations in the process.  Being married to Chris has shown me the true meaning of love, partnership, and caring for others. I have the privilege of seeing him behind closed doors, and I can say with complete honesty that he lives out what he preaches. His integrity and devotion inspire me daily.

Chris loves and honors me so well that it naturally overflows in how I love and honor him, which in turn spills over onto those we walk alongside in ministry. The pressures and insecurities I once felt in past relationships simply don’t exist between us. There’s peace, mutual respect, and a genuine joy in serving one another. I love making him feel special because he constantly reminds me of my worth and value in Christ. 

What began as a search for purpose turned into a journey of redemption, partnership, and calling. God truly writes the most beautiful stories when we surrender our plans to Him.
